Dr. Mikaela Milicuri is an independent curator, art advisor, and internationally recognised voice on the art market. She is the founder of Milicuri Art Advisory, an independent firm serving private collectors, family offices, corporations, and hospitality groups globally.
Mikaela holds a PhD in Art Marketing from Royal Holloway and a Master's in Art History from UCL. She has lectured at the Sotheby's Institute of Art, the University of the Arts London and the University of London, and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She has spoken at TEDx events and international art conferences, and her work has been featured in RBC News, Chapeau Magazine, and international media and academic publications.
She has lived and worked in five countries and eight cities. Her career spans commercial art galleries and prestigious organisations, including the Guggenheim Collection, Venice Biennale, Benaki Museum, Gagosian Gallery, TEFAF Maastricht, Sotheby's Institute, Christie's Education, and beyond. She is currently completing her first book, Think like a Collector, alongside upcoming academic and market publications.
